How to cook pumpkin in coconut cream (ginataang kalabasa)


heat oil in pan

brown garlic. saute onion and ginger.

add pumpkin

add cream and dilute with water until pumpkins are half covered

cover and simmer for 15-20 mins, depending on quantity

add pepper. don't cut it if you don't want it to get spicy

add prawns, being careful not to overcook it. 5-7mins should be enough.

serve hot with rice and cold beverage
